I'm a taco-loving, photograph-taking, Photoshop-enjoying, music-enjoying, muscle-car diggin', hard-work loving, awesome son-having, Jira fanatic living in Austin, TX!


I earned my BA in English from The Univerity of Texas at Austin in 2000, started out as a technical representative for Apple Computer back in 2001. and quickly began writing articles, guides, and training material. I eventually taught new-hire, L1, and L2 classes. I continued in technical writing and technical support roles until 2015. I discovered Confluence that year, and soon after the entire Atlassian product suite. Once I got my hands on Jira, I knew what I wanted to do! I have embraced Jira as the best product management tool in existence, and have devoted myself to learning everything about it, implementing it, and delivering effective training to nearly every audience level that exists.
